The
Rasta Foundation is a "Non Profit Charity" focused on building and preserving the Rasta community with real world
solutions. Some of our objectives include:
A. Develop Rasta based eco tourism in the Portland parish.
Building adventure and eco tourism to employ Rasta. Giving Rasta tourism a large online web presence.
B. Building online schools
in Jamaica to teach and enable Rasta to be self sufficient and prosper in the worldwide web marketplace. Thus raising the
income of many of Jamaicans poorest residents. In the near future, everyone the world will own their own company and
be their own CEO in an equal online virtual world marketplace. This is possible due to the philosophy of internet search engines
like Google.
C. Buy and develop land in every Jamaica parish (40-200 acres per community). Leasing parcels to individual
Rasta. Each community would have its own tech school and trading post to empower residents of the community. Thus giving the
community income from foreign sources to achieve community goals without government assistance. By using a trading system
rather than currency Rastas can eliminate negative IMF policies that make Jamaicans rely on imported products
that undercut the local economy.
D. Create non monitary trading posts across the island where people can trade food
and other necessities without the need of cash. Thus giving people with small resouces like fruit trees the ability
to trade for other food products at a set exchange. This will help combat higher priced imports.
D. Develop alternative fuels to reduce imports like oil. Follow models like
the use of sugarcane in Brazil to become energy independent. Wind and water power will also be expanded through this
charity.
E. Preserve Rasta culture with onsite and virtual museums. Currently there are many priceless Rasta artifacts
and antiques in the hands of individuals around the world that need to be preserved for future generations.
